Group gifts for birthdays, teachers, coaches and goodbyes

Everyone chips in. One gift arrives.

Boon Bunny collects the money, the notes, the photos and the videos from everyone in the group, then turns them into a gift card that shows up on the big day.

For iPhone, Android and the web. Friends chip in from any browser.

Why we built it

The group gift, without the group chat chaos

Somebody always ends up organizing the gift for the teacher, the coach, or the coworker who's leaving. Usually it looks like this:

  • An envelope that goes around and comes back short.
  • Payment requests in four different apps, and a spreadsheet to track them.
  • Reminders to the same three people, twice.
  • A card that half the group never got to sign.

Boon Bunny puts all of it behind one link. Friends open it, chip in what they like, and write something worth reading. The organizer sees who's in, picks the gift card when it's time, and we deliver it with every message attached.

How it works

From "we should get her something" to "you all made my day"

Four steps, about twenty seconds each. Pick a step to watch it.

Make it theirs

It should feel like an occasion

Design the card

Pick one of 7 color themes, from Sunshine to Midnight, and a font: playful, clean, handwritten or elegant. The gift email, the gift page and the app all open in that look.

A celebration for every occasion

Balloons rise for a birthday, fireworks go off at the end of a season, paper planes fly for a farewell. It plays when the gift opens, and for the organizer when it's sent.

Invites, reminders and notifications

Invite people by email and see who has chipped in or signed. Anyone who hasn't gets one reminder the day before it closes, and the organizer hears each time someone joins.

And the little things

Sign the card properly

Every note can carry a photo, a GIF or a video up to 30 seconds. People who can't chip in can still sign.

A highlight video, made for them

We stitch the messages, photos and video clips into one short film set to music. The organizer can preview it, edit it or turn it off.

Arrives on the day

Send the gift right away, or schedule it for the birthday, the last game or the last day of school.

Hundreds of brands

Choose one gift card or split the total across up to three. Gifting a couple or a team? Each person gets one email with all their cards.

One link, no sign-up

Share by text, WhatsApp, email or QR code. Friends chip in from whatever phone or computer they have.

Amounts stay private

The organizer decides whether friends see who gave what. Nobody feels judged for what they give.

Boon Bunny AI In testing with beta users

Organize the gift by just asking

Our gift helper wears a visor and does the busywork. Ask it in the app, by text or out loud, or from the AI assistant you already use.

The gift helper, in the app

Tap the bunny with the visor and say what you need. "Start a teacher appreciation gift for Ms. Okafor with a $150 goal." "How's Maya's gift doing?" It can read its answers aloud, and you can turn it off in your profile.

In Claude and ChatGPT

Add Boon Bunny as a connector, sign in with Google, and run your gifts from the conversation you're already having.

  • Start a gift
  • Share the link
  • See who chipped in
  • Close a gift
  • List my gifts

You stay in charge. The assistant tells you what it's about to do and waits for a yes before it starts or closes a gift. Choosing the gift card and paying always happen in the app.

Questions

Good to know

Do my friends need the app?

No. They open the link in any browser, chip in, and sign the card. Only the organizer needs the app, and the recipient can open their gift on the web too.

What does it cost?

Organizing is free during the beta. Each contributor pays the payment processing fee on their own chip-in: 2.9% + $0.30 by card, or 0.8% by bank account (never more than $5). The fee is shown before they pay.

What if we don't reach the goal?

The goal is optional. The organizer can close the collection whenever they're ready and buy the gift card with whatever came in.

Can someone sign the card without paying?

Yes. Anyone with the link can add a name and a message, with a photo or video if they like. They show up with everyone else, and only people who paid are marked as having chipped in.

How does the recipient get the gift?

By email, with every message, the gift card code and the highlight video. The same gift opens on a web page and in the app, and the recipient can send one thank-you note to everyone who chipped in.

What can the AI assistant do?

In the app or in Claude and ChatGPT, it can start a gift, give you the link to share, tell you who has chipped in and what they wrote, and close a gift when you're ready. It confirms before starting or closing anything, and it never pays or buys gift cards. The assistant is in testing with beta users.

Is my payment information safe?

Payments are processed by Stripe, and card details go straight to them. Boon Bunny never stores card numbers. You can delete your account and personal data at any time from the app or from our account deletion page.
