Terms of Service
Last updated: October 12, 2026
The short version
- Organizers set up a group gift, friends chip in, and the pot becomes gift cards for the recipient.
- Contributions are paid through Stripe and include a processing fee shown before you pay.
- Contributions generally can't be taken back once made, but if a gift is cancelled or a payment arrives too late, it's refunded with its fee.
- Gift cards are subject to the brand's own terms.
- Boon Bunny is in beta, so expect rough edges.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Gustavo A Martín ("Boon Bunny", "we", "us"). They apply when you use the Boon Bunny apps for iOS, Android or the web, or the website at solusindi.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, signing in, or making a contribution, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Who can use Boon Bunny
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. To pay for a contribution or organize a gift, you must be an adult who can enter a binding contract, or have a parent's or guardian's permission and supervision.
3. Your account
You can sign in with Google, Apple, or an email and password, and you can chip in to a gift without an account by giving your name and email. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us at support@solusindi.com if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your information accurate.
4. How group gifts work
Organizers
An organizer creates a gift, chooses the recipient, sets a target and deadline, and invites people to chip in. When the gift is closed, the organizer chooses gift cards from the brands available in the app and how to split the pot between them, and we buy those cards and deliver them to the recipient by email and in the app. The organizer is responsible for entering the recipient's details correctly and for having permission to share them with us.
Contributors
A contributor chips in an amount of their choice. Your name, message and, if the organizer allows it, your amount are visible to the organizer, other contributors and the recipient.
What Boon Bunny is, and isn't
We provide the tools to collect contributions and turn them into gift cards. We are not a bank, money transmitter, escrow agent, or charity, and contributions are payments toward a gift, not deposits. We don't guarantee that a gift will reach its target.
5. Payments and fees
- Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe terms for end users. We don't store your card details.
- Each contribution includes a processing fee, shown to you before you pay. The total you're charged is the contribution plus the fee.
- Organizer plans or promotional codes may change what an organizer can do or pay. Any price will be shown before you're charged.
- Amounts are in the currency shown in the app. Your bank may charge its own fees, such as for currency conversion.
6. Refunds and cancellations
- Contributions are generally final once your payment succeeds, because they go toward a gift for someone else.
- If a gift is cancelled before its gift cards are bought, or the gift cards can't be bought, we refund every contribution in full, including the processing fee.
- If your payment finishes after the gift's cards have already been bought, we refund it in full, including the fee.
- If you think you were charged by mistake, contact support@solusindi.com and we'll look into it.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. How long they take to appear depends on your bank. Nothing in these terms limits any right to a refund you have under the law where you live.
7. Gift cards
Gift cards are bought through our supplier, Tango Card, and issued by the brands shown in the app. Each card is subject to the issuing brand's terms, including any expiry, fees or restrictions, and redemption is between the recipient and the brand. Once a card has been delivered, we can't cancel, exchange or refund it, and we aren't responsible for a card that is lost, stolen or used by someone else after delivery, so please share delivery emails and links with care. Available brands and amounts can change at any time.
8. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- use the Service for anything illegal, fraudulent, or to launder money;
- use someone else's payment card or account without permission;
- write messages that are abusive, harassing, hateful, or that infringe someone else's rights;
- send invitations to people who don't want them, or use the Service for spam;
- try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get unauthorized access to the Service.
We may remove content, refuse or reverse a payment, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or puts other people at risk.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of the messages and other content you add. You give us permission to store, display and deliver that content as needed to run the Service, for example showing your message to the recipient. You're responsible for what you write.
10. Our service
The Boon Bunny name, logo, apps and website belong to us. You may use the apps for your personal, non-commercial use as long as you follow these terms. If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store, Apple isn't responsible for the app and Apple's standard end-user terms also apply.
11. Beta
Boon Bunny is currently in beta. Features may change or be removed, there may be bugs or downtime, and during the beta payments and gift card orders may run in test mode, in which case no real money is charged and test gift cards have no value. We may ask for your feedback and may use it to improve the Service without owing you anything for it.
12. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in fees in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
14. Ending your use
You can stop using Boon Bunny at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or at solusindi.com/delete-account. You'll need to finish or cancel any gift you're organizing first; email support@solusindi.com if you need help. Contributions already paid are handled as described above, and we keep payment records as our Privacy Policy explains. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the Service, and we'll give you notice when we reasonably can.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Kansas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.
